The pleated skirt — modeled by Jana K — was a fixture on the spring runways of Rag & Bone, Chloé and Miu Miu, who in many cases transformed this schoolyard staple into gossamer wisps of chiffon. Here the trend gets another twist, courtesy of the fashion editor Vanessa Traina, who contrasts a delicate Chloé skirt with a Brooks Brothers shirt and shoes by Alexander Wang.
